Natalie’s Certifications

To offer you peace of mind with respect to my training here are the certifications I have obtained all related to Holistic Nutrition and a comprehensive description of each program and designation.

CSNN – Certified Holistic Nutritional Consultant Designation

CSNN Enhanced Natural Nutrition Program

The Enhanced/Intensive Natural Nutrition Program at the Canadian School of Natural Nutrition (CSNN) is a comprehensive and science-based education in holistic health and whole food nutrition. Designed for individuals seeking a deeper, more immersive learning experience, this program goes beyond the foundational curriculum to include additional supervised clinical hours and practical application of key concepts.

Rooted in the principles of natural nutrition, the program explores the powerful connection between diet, lifestyle, environment, and overall well-being. It emphasizes a whole-person approach to health—addressing physical, emotional, and mental wellness and focuses on identifying and supporting the root causes of imbalance, rather than simply managing symptoms.

Students gain in-depth knowledge of nutrition for all life stages, therapeutic uses of food, supplementation, and the impact of stress, toxicity, and digestion on health. The curriculum also includes essential business training to equip graduates with the tools they need to launch and sustain a successful practice.

With expert instruction from Registered Holistic Nutritionists™ and other qualified professionals, the learning experience is both academically rigorous and personally transformative. The program also features hands-on culinary training in whole food preparation, with a focus on therapeutic ingredients, diverse cooking techniques, and the integration of food as medicine.

CSNN graduates emerge as confident, skilled, and knowledgeable practitioners who are equipped to offer personalized, evidence-informed nutrition and lifestyle support empowering clients to achieve lasting, sustainable wellness.

CANH-Pro – Certified Functional Nutrition Practitioner Designation

CAHN-Pro Certified Functional Nutrition Practitioner

Their practice is rooted in a functional, whole-person approach that addresses the root causes of health imbalances, rather than simply managing symptoms. By considering the interconnectedness of physical, mental, and emotional well-being, they develop personalized nutrition and lifestyle strategies that support lasting health outcomes.

Drawing on principles of functional nutrition, they assess each client’s unique biochemistry, diet, lifestyle, and environment. Their customized plans may include targeted dietary recommendations and food preparation techniques. They also evaluate potential nutrient deficiencies that could be contributing to health challenges.

In addition to creating individualized plans, they offer practical education, compassionate guidance, and ongoing support, empowering clients to take ownership of their well-being and make sustainable, informed choices on their health journey.

Metabolic Balance® – Certified Metabolic Balance® Coach Designation

Certified Metabolic Balance® Coach

Metabolic Balance® Coaches are trained to deliver highly personalized nutrition plans based on each client’s unique biochemistry. By analyzing bloodwork and other health information, they develop detailed meal plans that specify exactly which foods to eat, in what quantities to support optimal metabolic function.

With a deep understanding of metabolic processes and their impact on weight and overall health, coaches provide expert guidance through all four phases of the Metabolic Balance program. Their role includes motivation, education, and personalized support to help clients confidently navigate dietary changes and achieve sustainable results.

The Metabolic Balance certification is backed by a science-based approach, the program focuses on long-term metabolic health rather than short-term fixes.

Coaches also benefit from ongoing training and professional development to ensure they remain up-to-date and proficient in the latest practices and research within the program, empowering them to deliver effective, evidence-based support to every client.

CSNN – Holistic Culinary Designation

Optimization & Growth

This hands-on program is rooted in the healing power of whole foods, emphasizing their therapeutic benefits and the vital role they play in overall wellness. With a focus on unprocessed, nutrient-dense ingredients, students explore how food can nourish, restore, and support holistic health.

The curriculum bridges nutritional theory with culinary practice, empowering the participants to confidently plan and prepare meals that support well-being.

Instruction is delivered by Registered Holistic Nutritionists™ and professional chefs, combining evidence-based nutrition knowledge with real-world culinary expertise. The program also features experiential learning, giving the participants valuable opportunities to apply what they’ve learned in a supportive, hands-on environment.
