Crispy & Crunchy Lettuce Wraps

This gingery and veggie filled dish is perfect for lunch or supper.

Ingredients:

2 bell peppers
1 lb (450 g) ground pork
1 tbsp water
1 tsp sesame oil
1 tsp soy sauce
16 lettuce leaves, about 1 small head

Toppings (optional): sriracha or hoisin sauce

Directions:

Step 1:

Dice bell peppers and place in a large bowl. Mix in seasoning, ground pork, water, oil, and soy sauce.

Step 2:

In Multipurpose Steamer, evenly crumble in meat mixture. Cover; cook on high 5–6 min or until meat is cooked through. If you don’t have the Multipurpose Steamer you can cook the meat in a frypan on the stove. Use the Ground Meat Separator, or the kitchen tool of your choice, to break up chunks halfway through cooking. Drain off any excess liquid.

Step 3:

Once meat is cooked add all other ingredients except the lettuce leaves and bring to a boil, simmer for a few minutes.

Step 4:

To assemble, make eight sets of two stacked lettuce leaves. Top each stack with about 12 cup filling. Drizzle with toppings, if desired and enjoy!

Philly Style Cheesesteak

I am certain that this will become a family favourite in your house!  It sure is in ours!

Ingredients

2 bell peppers
1 small yellow onion
1 lb (450 g) thinly sliced beef strips
3 cups sliced mushrooms
1 tbsp oil
1 cup shredded mozzarella or provolone cheese
6 hoagie rolls, or buns of your choice, toasted
Directions:

Step 1:

Preheat oven 375° F. Line Sheet Pan with Sheet Pan Liner or use your favourite sheet pan and parchement paper.

Step 2:

Slice peppers and thinly slice onion. In a large bowl, combine peppers, onion, beef, mushrooms, oil, and seasoning. Toss until well coated.

Step 3:

Arrange in a single layer on pan as best you can. Roast for 15 min.

Step 4:

Remove from oven; sprinkle with cheese. Place back in oven and roast 2 min or until cheese melts.

Step 5:

Scoop and serve in hoagie rolls or buns of your choice and be ready to be amazed!

Chicken Souvlaki

This seasoning makes me think of the beautiful blue ocean and the sun shining on my face as if I was sitting on the beach in Greece!

Ingredients:

1 yellow bell pepper
1 small red onion
2 lbs (900 g) boneless, skinless chicken breast fillets
2 cups cherry tomatoes
2 tbsp each lemon juice and olive oil
8 pitas, optional

Toppings (optional): chopped cucumber, crumbled feta

Directions:

Step 1:

Preheat oven to 425° F. Line Sheet Pan with Sheet Pan Liner.

Step 2:

Slice pepper and onion. Place in a large bowl. Add chicken, tomatoes, lemon juice, olive oil, and seasoning. Toss until well coated.

Step 3:

Arrange in a single layer on Sheet Pan Liner or use your favourite sheet pan and parchement paper. Roast 18 min or until chicken is cooked through.

Step 4:

If desired, serve with pitas and optional toppings or on rice!
