Metabolic Balance

What Personal Information Is Collected?

As part of their participation in the Program, clients will be required to provide certain personal information to the Coach associated with the Program (“Metabolic Balance Coach”).

When a client subscribes to a Metabolic Balance program (the “Program”), they must provide their name, email address, mailing address, date of birth, body measurements, data obtained from a scientific analysis of blood samples, information concerning any medications and diseases (“Personal Information”).

How is the Personal Information Used?

The Metabolic Balance Coach will enter the Personal Information into the online application available on the Metabolic Balance website. This information is password protected as each Metabolic Balance Coach has their own personal login.

The Personal Information allows Metabolic Balance to process and customize a personal meal plan (the “Meal Plan”), and to notify of the Meal Plan’s status.

The preparation of the Meal Plan requires an analysis of the client’s bloodwork in accordance with the Program parameters. Obtaining such data typically requires participants to obtain a blood work requisition and subsequent laboratory analysis. This data analysis will also be used for the purpose of developing the Meal Plan.

The Personal Information will be used for counselling, to obtain payment for counselling, for administrative purposes, and to evaluate the quality of care and service that the client receives.

The Personal Information may also be used to fulfill orders for products or services; to provide reminders of a scheduled appointment or that the client is due for a new appointment; to describe alternative services that may be of benefit to the client or to provide them with offers; to contact clients when necessary; to review site usage and operations; to address problems with the Metabolic Balance website, or other products and services; to protect the security or integrity of the website and related business.

How is the Personal Information Shared?

The Personal Information will be shared with Metabolic Balance GmbH & Co. KG and any of its associates, contractors, service providers, and employees who may reasonably need access to this information in order to create the Meal Plan and monitor quality assurance, including GET Nutrition Consulting Inc., the National Licence Holder for Metabolic Balance in Canada.
